Polyalthia evecta (also called Spreading Mast Tree, among many other common names) is a medium-sized evergreen tree native to India and Sri Lanka. It has an upright, columnar growth habit and can reach heights of up to 30 meters. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and oblong in shape, and its flowers are white and fragrant.
