Phaeanthus intermedius (also called Intermediate Phaeanthus, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Primulaceae family. It is native to India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. It is an evergreen shrub growing up to 3 m tall. It has glossy, dark green leaves and white flowers with five petals. It is found in tropical and subtropical forests.
