Description
Guatteria chasmantha (also called Chasmanth Guatteria, among many other common names) is a medium-sized tree native to Central and South America. It has a straight trunk with a grayish-brown bark and a rounded crown. Its leaves are simple, alternate, and ovate-lanceolate in shape. It grows in moist forests, along rivers, and in disturbed areas.
