Schinus molle (also called Peruvian Pepper Tree, among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Anacardiaceae family. It is native to South America, and is found in tropical and subtropical dry forests. It is a shrub or small tree, growing up to 6 m tall. It has long, thin, arching leaves that are green to reddish-brown in color.
