Description
Nothoscordum pedersenii (also called Pedersen's False Garlic, among many other common names) is an annual herb that grows up to 1 m tall. It is native to the southeastern United States and is found in dry, sandy soils, often in open woodlands.

Nothoscordum pedersenii has small, white, bell-shaped flowers that are borne in clusters at the top of the stem. The seeds are small, dark brown, and have a smooth, shiny surface. The seedlings are small, with narrow, pointed leaves.
