Description

Halocharis hispida (also called Bristly Halocharis, among many other common names) is an annual herbaceous plant that grows up to 1 m tall. It has a thick, fleshy stem and its leaves are narrow and linear. Native to Central Asia, it is found in dry habitats such as steppes, deserts and saline soils.
