Description

Alstroemeria chorillensis (also called Chilean alstroemeria, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to Chile and Argentina. It grows in moist and sunny habitats, forming clumps of stems up to 1 m tall with narrow, lance-shaped leaves. The flowers are usually bright orange, with a darker center, and are borne in clusters of 2-3 at the top of the stems.
