Syzygiella perfoliata (also called Common Shield-moss, among many other common names) is a species of liverwort in the Plagiochilaceae family. It is a small, yellow-green plant with a thalloid body and a smooth, glossy surface. It is native to Europe, Asia, and North America, and is found in moist, shady habitats.
