Hydnocarpus woodii (also called Wood's Hydnocarpus, among many other common names) is a small tree native to India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and China. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests and moist montane forests.

Hydnocarpus woodii can be propagated from seeds or cuttings. Seeds should be sown in a well-draining soil mix and kept moist. Cuttings should be taken from healthy, mature plants and rooted in a moist soil mix. Both methods should be done in a warm, humid environment.
