Hydnocarpus scortechinii (also called Scortechini's Hydnocarpus, among many other common names) is a small tree native to India, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and China. It grows in tropical and subtropical moist lowland forests and moist montane forests.

Hydnocarpus scortechinii is used as a dye and in traditional medicine for treating skin diseases, fever, and diarrhea.
Cultivation and Propagation
