Description
Strobilanthes secunda (also called 'Second Strobilanthes', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Acanthaceae family. It is an herbaceous perennial that grows up to 1 meter in height. It is native to tropical regions of Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. It is found in moist, shady forests, as well as in disturbed habitats such as roadsides and plantations.

Strobilanthes secunda has small, white flowers with yellow centers and small, black, oval-shaped seeds. The seedlings have long, narrow leaves.
