Description

Strobilanthes procumbens (also called Chinese Violet, among many other common names) is a perennial herbaceous plant native to India and Sri Lanka. It has a creeping habit and grows to a height of about 20 cm. It has ovate leaves that are about 2 cm long and 1 cm wide, and its flowers are purple and white. It grows in moist and shady areas, such as in forests.
