Description
Isoglossa origanoides (also called 'Oregano-Like Isoglossa', among many other common names) is a species of flowering plant in the Fabaceae family. It is an herbaceous annual that grows up to 1 meter in height. It is native to temperate regions of South America, including Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay. It is found in moist, shady forests, as well as in disturbed habitats such as roadsides and plantations.
Flower, Seeds and Seedlings
Isoglossa origanoides has small, yellow flowers that are arranged in clusters. The seeds are small and black. The seedlings are small and have a single, heart-shaped leaf.
