Pumpkin

At Yowa Farm, we are a group of youth from Northern Uganda engaged in Pumpkin growing for commercial agriculture. This year about 20 young farmers explored pumpkin growing and the yield was exciting. We averagely got about 10 Tones each, which encouraged the farmers to do much better in the next season. 

We harvest twice a year in august and January. Yowa Farm looks to increase the number of youth from just 10 to 100 in the next two years and this will increase the production of Pumpkins in Northern Uganda, we shall need a bigger market to accommodate the production.
