Cabbage greens are vegetables that are not difficult to grow and care for insects. The season takes only 45-55 days. The planting method is that of seed sowing in holes. The number of seeds depends on the suitability of the area and the seeds are spaced 20-25 cm apart. When the seedlings germinate in about 10 days, they will be withdrawn and separated.

For fertilizer, one season will only require two inputs. After 15 days, the farmer puts Urea (46–0–0), 1 sack per rai. But if after putting the first unit of fertilizer, the vegetables are not healthy enough, one will need to add more fertilizer rounds during the age of 1 month.

Without pests and diseases, a farmer can expect a normal output range of 7-8 tons of produce.

The price of green cabbage depends on the season. If the weather is good, the productivity per rai will be high and the market price will be cheap at 2-4 baht per kg. The cheapest price will be 2 baht. Around March, the price stood at 3.50 baht.

But if during August – October during the rain, the chances of vegetables being damaged are substantial. In the case of flooding, and the onset of fungal diseases that spread with the weather vegetables get expensive, resulting in the price of 5–6 baht per kg.

But the villagers here will grow throughout the year after harvesting.  Most will divide the planting area so that vegetables are harvested into models.

Warich said at the end that the cost of production of cabbage is about 5,000-6,000 baht per rai depending on the disease/pests factors. In the past, the area of 6 rai invested nearly 30,000 baht. Cut vegetables would be sold for over 70,000 baht. More than 30,000 baht profit is quite good.
