Russian Wheat: The top three lines of Bashkir agricultural exports have been occupied by wheat, flax and barley since the beginning of 2023

Exports of grain and processed products from the Russian Bashkir Republic doubled in 2023 compared to the same period in 2022

Since the beginning of 2023, the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Bashkortostan has controlled 1,681 batches of grain and products of its processing exported by the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Bashkortostan to the countries of near and far abroad, including the states of the Customs and European Union. The number of export batches of grain products was more than 2.5 times higher than in the same period in 2022, when 600 batches were shipped.

The total weight of quarantine products inspected and issued by specialists of the supervisory authority for less than three months of this year reached more than 64.4 thousand tons. During the same period in 2022, this figure amounted to a little more than 34 thousand tons.

Wheat, more than 17.74 thousand tons, flax – 10.3 thousand tons, barley – 7.1 thousand tons, sunflower, mustard, must be in the Netherlands, buckwheat, buckwheat, rye and rye flour, rye flour and other grains are in demand among foreign counterparts from Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus,  Kyrgyzstan, the People’s Republic of China, the Netherlands, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

Samples of quarantine products have undergone laboratory tests before shipment, in accordance with the requirements of importing countries.

Entomological, herbological, mycological and helminthological studies conducted by specialists of the Bashkir Testing Laboratory of FSBI “VNIIZZH” confirmed the high quality and safety of bakery products of Bashkiria.

According to the results of research, 1,681 export phytosanitary certificates were issued for all batches.
