Our ginger is sourced from selected farms scattered across southern Kaduna (Jaba and Kachia Local government areas specifically).

Our logistics professionals help deliver at the Apapa or Tin can ports in Lagos.

Our ginger is largely organically grown using cow dung and poultry litter.  Our team of marketers purchase directly from the farms and transports to our warehouse for proper processing and cleaning. Our ginger is processed naturally and sun dried so as to maintain its natural flavor and spicy content.  

Overview of Quality we offer

GRADE A

Cleaning: Excellent (referred to as European standard)

Impurities: 1-3% maximum

Fungal: <1%

Muscle content: <1%

Moisture content: 3- 5% maximum

GRADE B

Cleaning: Good

Impurities: 4-7% maximum

Fungal: 2-4%

Muscle content: 4-7%

Moisture content: 4-6% maximum

Ginger is used largely in the food and beverages, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

The quality of ginger varies depending on the percentage of impurities (between 2 - 4%) and fungal growth (between 0 - 1%)

Nigeria produces over 522,000 metric tonnes of ginger annually. Nigeria is the leading producer of ginger in Africa and the fourth largest in the world.

Nigerian ginger is extremely tasteful and renowned for its pungency and high levels of oleoresin which add special flavor to food.
