News brief:<\/em> An upcoming Webinar will focus on, among others, the European Union-backed eco-schemes that farmers in Poland<\/u><\/a> will have to adhere to, even as the deadline looms for the closure of direct payment applications from the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What decisions were made by Polish <\/u>farmers<\/u><\/a>, which eco-schemes were the most popular and which caused the most difficulties? Were the GAEC (good Agricultural and environmental conditions) standards really such a challenge, complicating the application for subsidies? Among other things,  scheduled is a talk about this with the expert Mr. Marek Krysztoforski from CDR Brwin\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of June, the deadline for submitting applications for\u00a0direct payments\u00a0<\/u><\/a>expired and, according to ARMA (Agency for Reconstructing and Modernisation of Agriculture), 1.23 million such applications were registered by 14 July. The deadline for submitting applications has been extended this year largely due to the need for farmers to take into account not only the requirements of conditionality, but also due to the introduction of eco-schemes. These are all elements of pro-environmental activities introduced as\u00a0a\u00a0part of the European Green Deal.<\/u><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is the perfect time to sum up this year’s subsidy campaign and indicate what farmers had the biggest problems with and what should be improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The webinar will take place on Tuesday, July 25, 20.00, and participation is very simple\u00a0via web means and\u00a0remote attendants\u00a0can join the webinar at any time during its duration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The webinar is part of the INFOCAP-PL project implemented by the Plantpress Publishing House and co-financed by the European Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
