FOGGIA \u2013 Two weeks after the last quotations on March 15,\u00a0the price of Italian <\/u>durum wheat <\/u><\/a>plummets at the Foggia Commodity Exchange, in the session of Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The drop was as much as 30 euros per ton.<\/p>\n

Compared to the end of June 2022, the price of durum wheat lost a third of its value, going from 580 euros to 390 euros per ton. It is always only the farmers who lose out.<\/p>\n

The price of the\u00a0UP\u00a0(Union Pacific) wheat \u00a0drops\u00a0to\u00a0390-395\u00a0euros\/t. (it was 420-425 euros on March 15; 425-430 euros\/t. on 8.3.23 as on March 1; it was 420-425 euros\/t. on15.2.23 and 8.2.23; it was at 435-440 euros\/t. on February 1st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Also decreasing is the\u00a0MERCANTILE GOOD\u00a0at\u00a0380-383\u00a0euros\/t. (It was 410-413 euros per tonne, on 15.3.2023; at 415-418 euros per tonne on 8.3.23, and also on 1 March 2023; while it was at 410-413 euros per tonne. on15.2.23 and 8.2.23; On 1st<\/sup>\u00a0February, 2023, it was at 425-428 euros\/t.<\/p>\n
