Rescue rhizomes and cylindrical roots of various thicknesses: roots – 7-50 mm; rhizomes – 7-150 mm. Roots and rhizomes are externally covered with a thin cork layer. In the rootstocks the core is noticeable, in the root it is absent. On the cross-section, there are numerous coronal rays that diverge from the center and permeate the heavy maturing wood and a highly developed cortex. Along the core, rays in the roots often form radial cracks.
