Sweet melon (Galia)

Galia sweet melon variety is a delicious juicy fruit with high sugar content. The hybrid variety was first developed in Israel as a cross between the canteloupe and honey-dew varieties. This particular variety is known for its excellent shelf-life. The round fruit has an average weight of 1 kg each. Its brownish rind has good netting and a small seed cavity. The sweet melon is rich in vitamins and minerals such as vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, and folate. It also contains antioxidants which promote healthy skin and good vision. Additionally, the fruit is good for diabetes management as its high water content prevents large spikes in sugar levels. Produce will be available starting September 2022. Pre-order is accepted.
