Our arrowroots are sourced directly from our fertile land located in Embu County. We have a network of professional partners who pick our product (arrowroot) directly from our farm and deliver it to clients nationally. As a farmer, I nurture the arrowroots without the blast of pesticides and ensure they grow in moist conditions since arrowroots need a lot of water to mature.
Arrowroots are used extensively as food products. They can be boiled, mashed, roasted, and crushed into powder and used as a spice ingredient and in baking. The quality of arrowroots is extremely nutritious as it is used as a high-starch tuber. People in the food industry use the starchy rhizomes of arrowroots to make thickeners and stabilizers.
The Arrowroot powder can be used as a substitute for corn flour. Arrowroot provides calcium and magnesium. Some of the health benefits of arrowroots include easily digestible, high protein, gluten-free, low calories, lowering blood sugar levels, and weight management.
