The baobab tree is a massive and legendary tree of the African continent. It is nicknamed "upside-down tree" because its branches are reminiscent of roots, but also "tree of life" for its longevity and multiple properties.

Fatty acid composition:

Polyunsaturated fatty acids: 35% linoleic acid (omega-6)
Monounsaturated fatty acids: 32% oleic acid (omega-9)
Saturated fatty acids: 27% palmitic acid and 4% stearic acid

Other active constituents:

Vitamins: Vitamin E
Carotenoids: beta-carotene
