Sweet Potatoes and Sunflower

We produce Sunflower (Kenya Fedha), Sweet Potatoes (KEN SPOT 1) and Cassava (MH95) value chains. We are located in Basa South Location in Rachuonyo East Sub-County in Homa Bay County, Kenya. For Cassava and Sweet Potatoes, we also do seed aggregation. 

Currently we have sweet potato vines that can plant upto 5 ha. A kg of Sweet Potato Vines trades at Kshs. 1000 while a 50 kg bag of Cassava Cuttings trades at Kshs. 2,000.

110kg bag of Sweet Potatoes trades at Kshs. 7,700.

70kg bag of dried sunflower trades @Kshs. 70 per kg, that is Kshs. 4,900 per 70kg bag.
